2021 Play Up/Play Down Requests
Audience: If you would like your child to play up or play down in an age group that they do not currently belong, please register them in this list. The intention is to organize move up/move down requests and ensure no one is excluded from being able to participate in house baseball.
Process: On or around March 15th, the league presidents will determine the number of open spot available to allow for balanced teams with regards to the number of requests received and number of players currently registered. Prior to this date, Spencerport Junior Baseball will publish the evaluation criteria that will be used to determine whom will be allowed to play up or play down. This criteria will mostly focus on safety, but if there are fewer openings available than applicants who meet the safety criteria, then skill based criteria may also be used. This may include invitation to a player evaluation session. Once the criteria is in place, players registered in this list for each specific program will be considered for the desired level of play. The results of this consideration will be communicated with you before the first practice.
