Baseball 10U Minors

Minors is designed to build on the fundamentals attained in Juniors within a fun, safe, and more competitive environment.  Teams will practice two times each week and play one game a week.

Game play is player pitch, with rules designed to foster age-appropriate player engagement and skill development.   Game score and win/loss records are kept.  1-2 SJB-certified umpires will be assigned each game.

• Cost:
  • $130 Early Bird registrations prior to February 1st
  • $140 for registrations after February 1st
  • Refunds will require a $10 surcharge for all leagues
• Schedule:  Late April – June
• Days of Play per Week: 3 (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
  • Teams will practice twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Bernabi
  • Games on Saturdays at Pineway Ponds
  • Game/Practice days subject to change based on registration numbers/field availability
• Location: Bernabi Elementary School, Pineway Ponds Park
• End of Season: League Playoffs*, All-Star Team* (subject to change based on registration numbers) 
  

• Games and practices will be played on Fields 5, 6 & 7 located at Bernabi Elementary
• Players will rotate through most field positions throughout the season unless there is safety or other concerns
• Players will rotate within the batting order from game to game
• 10 fielders max in the field (6 infielders, 4 outfielders)
• Base Length is 60 feet
