Softball Rookies is a program structured to be an introduction to softball fundamentals in a fun and safe environment. Games are conducted where a coach pitches to the athletes.

- Ages: 6-7 years old (birth years 2018 and 2019)
- Cost:
- $115 Early Bird registrations prior to February 1st
- $125 for registrations after February 1st
- Refunds will require a $10 surcharge for all leagues
- Schedule: May - June
- Dates: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays*
- Locations: Spencerport High School and Pineway Ponds Park (home games and practices) and various towns within Monroe County (away games)
- Equipment: A softball glove and pair of gray softball pants are required for participation in Softball Rookies. Bats and batting helmets are optional (as an assortment of both are provided by the program). A fielding face mask is not required at this level, but athletes may wear them for added safety.
*Due to field availability and/or weather, some make-up games and/or practices may be scheduled for Sundays. It’s common that practices and games are canceled due to spring rain. We do our best to get as much playing time as possible, but cannot guarantee that all scheduled practices and games will be held/played.
